Making Teaching Public

Funded by the Annenberg Institute for School Reform, Making Teaching Public documents how one high school in Pasadena, California uses "Critical Friends Groups" (CFG's) to improve the quality of teaching. CFG's open the doors of classrooms to other teachers through peer reviews. Peers use a set protocol designed to make the review constructive. By "making teaching public", both new and experienced teachers gain valuable tools from fellow practitioners to improve their pedagogy.
