Public Transportation: A Route to Freedom

Opening this film, 17-year old Alfred, born with cerebral palsy, asks, "How would you feel if you took a school bus when you were my age and did not use public transportation . . . because no one taught you how to do it?" Alfred's question lies at the heart of this video funded by Easter Seals. The film follows a group of New York teens with varying disabilities through the rigors of travel training both in the classroom and on an actual trip to Madison Square Garden.
